3 Big Contributors to Stress and Anxiety

Stress and anxiety show up in our lives when we’re up and when we’re down. Life is always happening, despite our work schedules and despite our needs, and it seems like our daily behaviors and habits play a huge role in how we feel day-to-day.

Below, Family Chiropractic and Natural Healing Center goes over a few major contributors to stress and anxiety. Limiting these habits, actions, and behaviors will help you feel more at peace and emotionally balanced on a daily basis.

Lack of Sleep

Make sure to get 7-9 hours of sleep on a daily basis. If you’re having trouble sleeping, work on your exercising, limit caffeine intake, and practice meditation and yoga towards the end of each day, which will all help promote a better night of sleep.

Not Taking Care of Responsibility

Many of us shirk our responsibilities in lieu of doing more comfortable things, like binge-watching Netflix. Doing nothing and letting your responsibilities stack-up on you is a surefire way to get majorly stressed. Think of each day as an opportunity to get something like 5 tasks completed. Go hour for hour, if you have to, but try to make sure that each day is spent taking care of business. You’ll sleep better at night and feel far less anxious about things.

Lack of Exercise

If we don’t burn excess energy on exercise it can show up as anxiety or stress when we lay our heads down to sleep at night. Exercise to exertion 3-4 times per week in order to reduce stress and improve mood/outlook.

Chiropractic treatments are a great way to reduce anxiety, improve mood, and even help you achieve a better night of sleep. Contact Family Chiropractic and Natural Healing Center today to schedule your consultation in order to learn more.
